The Temporary Library

The “Temporary Library” relied on the concept of metaphorically breaking the classic boundaries of libraries. It brought publications to places where they’re not necessarily known, expanding and redefining in a contemporary sense, the public role of libraries.
Publishers and individuals were asked to donate publications. After a public exhibition, the publications were donated to the library of the University of Aalborg (Denmark) and will form a special collection, potentially being lent to other events in the future. www.temporarylibrary.dk
