The Temporary Library

2022

The “Temporary Library” project relied on the concept of metaphorically breaking the classic boundaries of libraries. It brought publications to places where they’re not necessarily known, expanding and redefining in a contemporary sense, the public role of libraries.

This project was about creating a temporary small library of printed publications of Danish Media Art.
Publishers and individuals were asked to donate publications. After the exhibition, the publications were donated to the library of the University of Aalborg (Denmark) and will form a special collection, potentially being lent to other events in the future. www.temporarylibrary.dk
